Justin Bieber deletes Instagram account after warning fans over negative comments.
Justin Bieber‘s Instagram account was unavailable early this morning, proving he is not one to make empty threats, much to the umbrage of his 79 million followers.
Beliebers awoke to find themselves locked out of their idol’s posts after Bieber criticised some leaving negative comments on his pictures with Sofia Richie, the daughter of Lionel Richie.
“I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate this is getting out of hand,” he warned underneath his most recent picture of the pair together.
“If you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like.”
Hours later, his account was gone, at least temporarily.
Over the weeknd, Justin’s former girlfriend Selena commented under one of the pics: “If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol – it should be special between you two only. Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you and supported you before anyone ever did.
Her comments were followed by various pictures of Gomez with her fans under captions such as “my world”.
But after Selena’s comment, Justin hit back with a cryptic message: “It’s funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way,” he wrote. “Sad. All love.” He then posted another comment which said: “I’m not one for anyone receiving hate. Hope u all can be kind to my friends and each other. And yes I love my Believers.”
Selena wasn’t about to let Justin Bieber have the last word, replying: “Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad. Sad. All love.”
But later Selena Gomez apologizes and shared a Snapchat photo with the words: “What I said was selfish and pointless.”
Justin Bieber was pictured in Japan over the weekend with Sofia Richie on his Purpose World Tour.
